About Coach Herrera

Coach Herrera has enough experience for his young age. Coach Herrera is originally from Maracay-Venezuela, from where he emigrated in 2013 to continue his dream of playing baseball at a very high level. In 2014, Coach Herrera was part of Cloud country CC located in the state of Kansas. In his two years in cloud county he hit for 347. In 347 at-bats he had 100 hits in two seasons with the T-Birds. His great performance in cloud helped him obtain multiple awards as best conference catcher and catcher of the decade from the cloud team and multiple offers to 4-year universities where he was able to negotiate his offers and obtain a 100% scholarship to play at Northwest Missouri State. University in Missouri. At Northwest, injuries limited his participation his first two years, his third year he remained healthy and was able to play in 48 of 49 games where he hit 283. (184-52) with 37 RBI and 15 doubles.

In all, Coach Herrera hit 310 for life in his college career and started over 200 games over a 5-year career span.

Coach Herrera was invited by several independent league teams and teams in European leagues to continue his sports career. However, after the pandemic, he decided to dedicate himself to the development and promotion of athletes when he began working with the company campus connections international (Company dedicated to obtaining university scholarships) (IG: cci_becas) in said company he began to study the scholarship markets and how the acquisition of prospects who want to continue their career to the next level is mobilized. In September 2021, Coach Herrera was given the opportunity to create his own baseball program at Springfield Commonwealth Academy. In that period of time he recruited more than 25 players from different countries and formed a team of pure Latino players. In his first year as a coach, he has beaten teams with a lot of history like St Thomas More Prep, which is ranked 12th in the nation. Coach Herrera has helped their 25 prospects get at least 1 offer to the next level thus creating development opportunities in their program.
